Can games and technology make me more active? The revolution of the WiiFit says that games and technology can improve your physical fitness, but the Exertion Games Lab (XGL) is taking it one step further.
The Exertion Games Lab investigates the future of games. It imagines, but most importantly, also creates the future of digital play and games by actively inventing it. To achieve this, we engage in research-through-design and investigate the resulting human-computer interactions. We publish and exhibit at the top venues worldwide. Our research envisions a more playful engagement with technology, shaping a better future that supports and appreciates human values such as living an active life.
